work in an intuitive way allowing our writing to emerge naturally
from our sense of connection with material and the power of the
imagination. We will explore ideas around language, perception
and diversity and create poetry together.
Participants will have the opportunity to use goose feather quills
and Chinese ink for writing.

I am interested in relationship and how individual qualities have the potential to transform one another and so something new can be created. This expresses itself for me, through making Art and also through working with people, noticing shifts and changing attitudes in the space we create together.

Capturing Form and Movement in Painting
In this dynamic workshop we will be using our brush as an extension of the body and of our
energy. Drawing on Eastern philosophy and art for inspiration, we will practice how to bring
ourselves into the moment increasing our sense of focus and attention.
Through this process we will increase our sensitivity to the materials – enjoying the whiteness
of the paper as a place of potential for exploration. Some of these techniques can be brought
into our daily lives creatively; bringing awareness to our self-expression, our breathing and
how we can focus our thoughts.
